The Staff picks students up from school. The first thing students do is their homework. Trained staff members give individual help. Then the students are given golf lessons, which instills patience, discipline and following rules.
This school is for fifth grade students who are not achieving at their ability level, have low self esteem or have difficulty adjusting to an academic environment. Students learn through interactive learning experiences in the fields of management, marketing, retail sales, landscaping, agronomy and various other real world business environments. The students state CTBS scores have increased by 25%.
In this program the students shadow a person in a particular field or job. Learning about the responsibilities and duties of successful job performance and day to day tasks.
Kids are given the chance to pay back the community in a positive environment. These kids are given vocational training and helped in job placement. The program teaches the behavior management and positive self esteem. The youth are also given the chance to learn the game of golf.
